Dear sister or brother in Christ,

Heaven on earth is possible. 

And most of us deep in our bones know this is true. 

Because we have seen another life... another world... in dreams and visions...

You know what I'm talking about, right?

Those sacred moments - when a sermon, or book, or conversation touches something deep inside you...

... and you suddenly catch a glimpse, of a greater life somewhere "out there":

...a life of gushing joy, spiritual power, freedom from all worry and bitterness and anxiety... a life like the apostles lived in Acts, where God's healing power rushed through them like an unstoppable river into a dry and thirsty world... a life where everything you do, is a part of some mysterious and wonderful purpose as old as time and as large as the universe... 

And on those nights when you manage to "break away" from the noise and grind and hustle and bustle of life...

... when you can finally hear your own thoughts, and feel your deepest desires...

... on those nights if you listen closely, you can hear a Voice whispering your name. 

Calling you... 

Out into the deep...

Out into that greater life...

The Life You've Seen In Dreams And Visions

Most Christians I've met do not understand what their hearts really long for.

They have it backwards. 

They think that what they long for, and feel called to do... is accomplish some great feat out in the world. 

To start a nonprofit. 

To start a revival. 

To share the "message" on their heart. 

To "make an impact" for the Kingdom.

And while these works may indeed be things God calls you to do, in good time... they are not the heart of what you really, really want. Rather, they are the  fruit of what you really, really want.

So what do you really, really want? 

It has several names: 

"Heaven on earth"
"Praying without ceasing"
"Abiding"
"The Kingdom of God"

... basically, it is a life. A state of being. Where you are constantly aware of God's presence with you. Constantly praying. Constantly rejoicing and giving thanks. Constantly listening and joyously following God's guidance. Your eyes are fixed on Jesus. Your mind is flooded with God's peace. Joy bubbles up from your depths, day by day by day. You become kinder and gentler and more like Jesus every day. Your great confidence in God shines from your face, and makes your step firm. 

Ok, but how do you get there? 

THAT is the central question I answer in all my "PrayMore" emails - but I'm getting ahead of myself.

First, here's how I found the answer:

Searching For Heaven On Earth 

Ever since high school I have been obsessed with this question: 

HOW. 

In very concrete, very practical terms...

... can any woman, and any man, regardless of what job or role or physical condition they are in...

...  take steps towards a life of minute-by-minute prayer - and keep on stepping in that direction until they find heaven on earth - and live their entire lives from that place?

In high school and college I made several unsuccessful attempts to pray every minute of the day.

I remember during one of them I set the timer on my phone to go off every 5 minutes. And BOY did that get old fast, hah.

Within a few days the timer was just a nuisance - and within a few weeks I had burnt out and given up on my attempt to pray every minute. Yet again. 

In 2021 I began a fresh attempt... but this time, something amazing happened.

Something in my depths 'clicked into place' - and unlike previous attempts, this time I became more and more successful with each passing week. Praying more, and more, and more. 

For my whole life I had been praying to some degree.

And sometimes with great consistency and for long stretches of time. 

But I have never experienced anything like what happened in my prayer life this past year.

To this day Psalms and prayers come drifting into my thoughts, like a breeze through an open window. My whole life is beginning to feel like one, long prayer... though I admit I cannot fully explain what I mean by that... even now as I write these words, I am consistently pausing and asking for guidance...

... and every passing day, "heaven on earth" is becoming less of a dream for me, and more my daily reality.

And the best part of all? 

Everything I have done... is something every Christian can do. Which leads me to the point of this page...

Shouldn't the Word of God always be free?
