Dear sister or brother in Christ,

Heaven on earth is possible. 

And most of us deep in our bones know this is true. 

Because we have seen another life... another world... in dreams and visions...

You know what I'm talking about, right?

Those sacred moments - when a sermon, or book, or conversation touches something deep inside you...

... and you suddenly catch a glimpse, of a greater life somewhere "out there":

...a life of gushing joy, spiritual power, freedom from all worry and bitterness and anxiety... a life like the apostles lived in Acts, where God's healing power rushed through them like an unstoppable river into a dry and thirsty world... a life where everything you do, is a part of some mysterious and wonderful purpose as old as time and as large as the universe... 

And on those nights when you manage to "break away" from the noise and grind and hustle and bustle of life...

... when you can finally hear your own thoughts, and feel your deepest desires...

... on those nights if you listen closely, you can hear a Voice whispering your name. 

Calling you... 

Out into the deep...

Out into that greater life...

The Life Your Heart Burns For

Most Christians who I have met do not understand what their hearts really long for.

They have it backwards. 

They think what the "Voice" from the deep is calling them into... is to accomplish some great feat out in the world. 

To start a nonprofit. 

To start a revival. 

To share the "message" on their heart. 

To "make an impact" for the Kingdom.

And while all these works might be things God calls you to do in good time... they are not the heart of what you really, really want. Rather, they are the  fruit of what you really, really want.

So what do you really, really want? 

It has several names: 

"Heaven on earth"
"Praying without ceasing"
"Abiding"
"The Kingdom of God"

... basically, it is a life. A state of being. Where you are constantly aware of God's presence with you. Constantly praying. Constantly rejoicing and giving thanks. Your eyes are fixed on Jesus. Your mind is flooded with God's peace. Joy bubbles up from your depths, day by day by day. You become kinder and gentler and more like Jesus every day. And the light of eternity shines from your face and your words. 

How do you get there? 

That is the question I have dedicated my life to. 

And then more, and more, and more. Until you are praying without ceasing. Every minute of your life. 

But how do you do THAT...
 







The greater life your heart burns for is not a figment of your imagination. It is real. It is out there.

But what is it? 

And how do you get there?

When I was a senior in high school, I caught a glimpse of heaven on earth.

I don't have the space to go into detail here... but briefly, I was on a retreat with my youth group. And on our last night together we were all gathered in the chapel... and the Spirit of God flooded the room. 

I will never find words to fully describe the warmth... the peace... the boundless joy which welled up inside me, and inside all of us in that room, on that night. Our Youth Group totally changed from that night on. Wayward hearts turned to Jesus. We became a family. A raging fire was lit inside us. And we never forgot that night.

And what I learned on that night...

... is that when we are deeply, submerged in the presence of God... THAT is heaven on earth.

And shortly after I began to wonder,

Why not spend my whole life in that place?

Constantly aware of God's presence...

Or "praying without ceasing" as Paul puts it...

And so I became obsessed with THIS question: 

HOW. 

In very concrete, very practical terms...

... can any woman, and any man, regardless of what job or role or physical condition they are in...

...  take steps towards a life of minute-by-minute prayer - and keep on stepping in that direction until they find heaven on earth - and live their entire lives from that place?

While I was still a senior I made an attempt to actually live this way - and pray every minute.

Frankly, I didn't get very far.

My attempt lasted about a week.

But it planted in me a hunger to one day figure out how to live that life. A hunger which never left me. 

Then again when I was in college I made another attempt. I remember setting the timer on my phone to go off every 5 minutes. And BOY did that get old fast, hah.

Within a few days the timer was just a nuisance - and within a few weeks I had burnt out and given up on my attempt to pray every minute. Again. 

In 2021 I began a third attempt... and this time, something amazing happened.

Something in my depths 'clicked into place' - and still to this day I am in the middle of my attempt which started last year, to fill every minute of every day with joyous, powerful prayer. Several months after I began it started to feel like a spring of fresh water was bubbling up from my depths, every day. 

For my whole life I have been praying to some degree.

And sometimes with great consistency and for long stretches of time. 

But I have yet to experience anything like what I have experienced this past year.  

Psalms and prayers just drift into my thoughts at random points throughout the day. My whole life is beginning to feel like one, long prayer... though I admit I cannot fully explain what I mean by that... even now as I write these words, I am consistently pausing and asking for guidance...

... and every passing day, "heaven on earth" is becoming less of a dream for me, and more my daily reality.

And the best part of all? 

Everything I have done... is something every Christian can do. Which leads me to the point of this page...

Why Am I Charging Money For These Emails?

People often ask me this. I suspect what they're thinking is, "shouldn't spiritual things be free?"

It's a fair question!

I have two main reasons for charging money:

(1) I want to someday transition from working in digital marketing (i.e. my current dayjob)… to working on PrayMore full time. There is so much more I want to write. And so many more videos I want to shoot, where I unpack what I have learned... but to work on this project full time will require money. Because I have a wife, who is in school full time getting her P.h.D. - and a belly, that needs fuel!

(2) Charging a membership fee gives me money to advertise with, so I can spread the word about these emails further

Think of it like this: 

Why does Zondervan charge money for their Bibles? Shouldn't the "Word of God" be free? 

Here's why they charge money: it gives them resources to make many, many more Bibles than they would otherwise be able to make. It gives them resources to pay hardworking staff. And to build an organization dedicated to spreading the Bible around the world. So I am happy to pay them money, as a way of contributing towards their work. 

Similarly, I charge money for my emails because I want to some day be able to focus on this work full time. And I also dream of someday hiring staff to help me spread this information, about how to enter ceaseless prayer, around the world.
