Heaven on earth is possible. 

And most of us deep in our bones know this is true. 

Because we have seen another life... another world... in dreams and visions...

... you know what I'm talking about, right? Those sacred moments - perhaps when we heard a sermon that touched something deep inside us - when we suddenly caught a glimpse... of a greater life somewhere "out there."

...a life of gushing joy, spiritual power, freedom from all worry and bitterness and anxiety... a life like the apostles lived in Acts, where God's healing power rushed through them like an unstoppable river into a dry and thirsty world... a life where everything we do, is a part of some mysterious and wonderful purpose as old as time and as large as the universe... 

And on those nights when we manage to "break away" from the noise and grind and hustle and bustle of life...

... when we can finally hear our own thoughts, and feel our deepest desires...

... on those nights we can hear a Voice whispering our name. 

Calling us... 

Out into the deep...

Out into that greater life...

Finding Heaven On Earth

I can teach you how to find heaven on earth in two words: 

Pray more. 

And then? Pray more. And more. And more... until you are "praying without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Every minute of the day. Constantly, consciously aware of God with you. Listening to him. Interceding for the people around you. Rehearsing Scripture. Quietly rejoicing. Continually. 

When you achieve this state of constant awareness of God... you will find that it is everything you have ever wanted. It is the life you glimpsed in dreams and visions.

You will find a contagious joy filling your cup to the point of overflowing. A glorious light as from some other world, will begin to shine from your face and your words. Healing, and freedom, and peace... will follow in your wake everywhere you go. 

It will feel like some mighty, invisible Force is going before you and straightening everything out, all the rough circumstances and rocky situations... it will feel like this because God will do it. 

Everyone who talks with you, or who simply receives a hug from you, will leave with a taste of heaven. And a burning desire for something more.

My Journey Into Minute-by-Minute Prayer

Ever since high school I have been obsessed with this question: 

HOW. 

In very concrete, very practical terms...

... can any woman, and any man, regardless of what job or role or physical condition they are in...

...  take steps towards a life of minute-by-minute prayer - and keep on stepping in that direction until they find heaven on earth - and live their entire lives from that place?

The first time I attempted to actually live a life of every-minute prayer... was when I was a senior in high school. Frankly, my attempt didn't get very far. It lasted about two weeks. But it instilled in me a burning desire to one day learn to live that life... a desire which never left me. 

Then again when I was in college I made another attempt. I remember setting the timer on my phone to go off every 5 minutes. And BOY did that get old fast, haha. Within a few days the timer was just a nuisance - and within a few weeks I had burnt out and given up on my attempt to pray every minute. Again. 

Last year I began a third attempt... and this time, something amazing happened.

Something in my depths 'clicked into place' - and still to this day I am in the middle of this grand "experiment", of learning how to fill every minute of every day with joyous, powerful prayer. Several months into the experiment it felt like a spring of fresh water was bubbling up from my depths, every day. 

For as long as I can remember I have been praying to some degree.

And sometimes with great consistency and for long stretches of time. 

But I have yet to experience anything like what I have experienced this past year.  

Psalms and prayers just drift into my thoughts at random points throughout the day. My whole life is beginning to feel like one, long prayer... though I admit I cannot fully explain what I mean by that... even now as I write these words, I am consistently pausing and asking for guidance...

... and every passing day, "heaven on earth" is becoming less of a dream for me, and more my daily reality.

And the best part of all? 

Everything I have done... is something every Christian can do. Which leads me to the point of this page...

Why Am I Charging Money For These Emails?

People often ask me this. I suspect what they're thinking is, "shouldn't spiritual things be free?"

It's a fair question!

I have two main reasons for charging money:

(1) I want to someday transition from working in digital marketing (i.e. my current dayjob)… to working on PrayMore full time. There is so much more I want to write. And so many more videos I want to shoot, where I unpack what I have learned... but to work on this project full time will require money. Because I have a wife, who is in school full time getting her P.h.D. - and a belly, that needs fuel!

(2) Charging a membership fee gives me money to advertise with, so I can spread the word about these emails further

Think of it like this: 

Is it wrong for Zondervan to charge money for their Bibles? Shouldn't the "Word of God" be free? 

I don't think it's wrong of them, and here's why: them charging money gives them resources to make many, many more Bibles than they would otherwise be able to make. It gives them resources to pay hardworking staff. And to build an organization dedicated to spreading the Bible around the world. So I am happy to pay them money, as a way of contributing towards this work. 

Similarly, I charge money for my emails because I want to some day be able to focus on this work full time. And I also dream of someday hiring staff to help me spread this information, about how to enter ceaseless prayer, around the world.
